A space for creativity, innovation and connection between artists and art lovers.
Shapó Olé was created in 2007 by the Argentine artist Fernanda J. Carregado with the purpose of designing hats.. From this inspiration stems its derivation from the French term “chapeau”, which became ‘shapo’, and “Ole” was added in reference to Spain. Over time, his creative evolution turned this project into much more than a personal work; it was consolidated as a space for collective creation, becoming an integral platform for art, education and culture. At Shapó Olé, we share and promote art, inviting other artists to make their work visible and expand it.
Eight years ago, we established a space in San Pedro Alcántara, Málaga, dedicated to the sale of our pieces. Currently, we offer workshops and hold exhibitions as part of “La Ventana del Arte”, presenting works by various artists. This year, we expand our vision and take our proposal to a new corner full of creativity and artistic energy: Gaucín. In this project, we have the collaboration of the renowned audiovisual designer Raúl Delgado, who joins the direction bringing his extensive experience and vision, thus enriching our initiative.
We are pleased to propose our vision of a contemporary art gallery in Gaucín, where we will explore a wide variety of artistic expressions, including painting, photography, sculpture and printmaking. At Shapó Olé, we remain committed to fostering creativity and promoting artistic talent in all its forms and forms.
